Contact forms capture personal data such as your name and email address, necessary to generate such emails and allow for smooth communication.

We do not use the information captured on our contact forms for marketing purposes unless otherwise stated on the form, or page containing the form.

c) Cookies
In order to leave a comment / review on our site, you will need to be a registered customer. You can register for an account by checking the ‘Create an Account’ option at checkout. If you later wish to delete the comment / review, you’ll be able to do this by logging into your account or by requesting this in writing to reviews@diamondpets.co.uk. Once a comment or review has been left, we may save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment / review. These cookies will remain until you clear browser cookies for our website.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days (or 14 days if you check the “Remember Me” box), and screen options cookies last for a year. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Cookies will also be set to save your currency preferences and to determine whether we have already displayed popups / website offers to you (and how you interacted with these previously, such as whether you closed the offer). Cookies will also be used to remember your product page selections and personalisation text entered, in order to save you time reentering this information each time you view another product. Finally, we may also use cookies for remarketing purposes, using services such as Google Remarketing, Instagram / Facebook (Meta) and Twitter Remarketing. These cookies will remain until you clear browser cookies for our website.
d) Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, products, etc.) – embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Alongside any other embeds, we may also use embedded videos (from YouTube and Vimeo) and embedded Social Media posts.
e) Analytics
When you use our site, our tracking service providers, such as Google Analytics, collect information using various technologies, including cookies and pixel tags (which are also called clear GIFs, web beacons, or pixels).

Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our site and your experience, and track usage of our resources. These service providers may use cookies to collect and store information about your device, such as time of visit, pages visited, time spent on each page of the site, items added to the basket, referrer, links clicked and conversion information, browser, mobile network information, and type of operating system used.
f) Billing / Shipping Information

Once you have selected a payment method, you will need to enter your payment information for your payment to be processed. This data will be handled directly by the payment processor (for example PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, Apple Pay or Google Pay). For telephone orders, this information will need to be provided to the telephone operator, who will submit the information to the necessary payment processor.

You will be given the option on our checkout page to opt-in to receiving automated order updates, such as tracking information, order status updates and any offers / information that we feel may be useful to you via email and/or SMS. After opting in, you can opt out from receiving offers / information from us at any time by following the unsubscribe link / steps found at the bottom of our email or SMS, or by emailing support@diamondpets.co.uk. We do not have control over what information is requested by the processing company as part of their checkout process, and therefore cannot include a separate opt-in option. If you would prefer not to opt-in, please instead use the full checkout process by clicking the ‘Add to Basket’ option, and then navigate to the main checkout page, where you will be given the options outlined in the paragraph above.

g) Abandoned cart
When clicking ‘Add to Basket’ on any of our product pages, we may display a popup asking you to enter your email address, in order to create a shopping basket for you that is associated with your email address. You can choose to add the item to basket without entering your email address by clicking either the ‘No thanks’ or ‘X’ options. If you decide to enter your email address, you agree for us to send you checkout reminders via email, should items remain in your basket. You can subsequently opt-out at any time by following the unsubscribe steps found at the bottom of our emails, or by emailing support@diamondpets.co.uk.
h) Popups and offers
Should you choose to provide us with your contact information (in order to claim any offers / receive any information that we have presented to you) you agree for us to subsequently contact you for marketing purposes. If you wish to opt-out, please follow the opt-out steps found at the bottom of our communications, or by emailing support@diamondpets.co.uk.
